Judy Kessinger started her career owning and operating a small
retail fabric store in Louisville, Kentucky. For 25 years she
traveled nationwide holding seminars for Hancock Fabrics. In
the last year, she has fine tuned her special art of teaching
her students how to fit themselves for a slimmer look. In the
process, she developed two patterns, tops and pants. An entire
wardrobe can be made from just these two patterns. Judy
is looking forward to following her passion to teach the home
seamstress how to take the STRESS out of seamstress!

Sew Slim Pants Your customers won't believe
how comfortable these pants feel! After having their measurements
taken, they will learn how to draft a pattern that ONLY fits
them, sew the pants together, and alter any arrears that need
fixing. They will apply a draw-cord elastic that I lovingly call
my buffet waist! After completing this 6 hour class, they will
be ready to sew up a wardrobe of pants; Capri's and shorts-all
from the same perfect fit class! And the best part----they will
look 10 pounds slimmer without giving up chocolate!
 Sew Slim Top-Ready- Set-Sew!!!! Your customers
will have your measurements personally recorded for only you!!
Then draft the pattern, sew the shoulder seams and the fun begins.
You will learn three different necklines to use in your FIRST
knit top, how to put in sleeves and the finishing. And all this
in 4 hours!
Jacket-2-Tote Yes, you read that right! Your
customers will learn how to draft a new pattern from the Sew
Slim Top. They will then make and line a jacket and insert a
separating zipper. The finishing touch---it all can be turned
in to a tote bag! This is a six hour class!
A SEW INSPIRING TRUNK SHOW Your customers will
receive a 90 minute show that will both excite and inspire them
sew more! I will be showing an entire wardrobe from just two
patterns. This show will highlight creative touches given to
garments and how to achieve a "store bought look".
